I've always been a reflector & personal analyzer, though -- I did the same when he started kindergarten, when my daughter started kindergarten, etc. :) So I'd guess I have experienced many "half-times". Now I find myself pondering these questions more frequently. Perhaps it's because of my age; perhaps it's because, as a widow and empty-nester, I both have the time to sit and ponder and I have a new perspective of time.
